Courses in biology, chemistry, physics, and math during high school years are recommended in preparation for college. A high school student may take advanced courses and college level courses to gain college credits during their junior and senior years.
Pre-dental students usually take four years to get a bachelor’s degree. Some dental programs allow students to complete their bachelor’s degree in combination with their post-graduate studies.
A Dental Admissions Exam (DAT) is required to be admitted into a dental school.
